@Eugene Lee I have considered looking back in my hometown of Chattanooga, just because the prices are so much more affordable. However, its hard not to want to get in the San Diego market somehow!

@Aaron Lawson Are there states close by, or even properties in East County that you have run numbers on?

@Hongbing K. My wife and I are working on putting our nest egg back together to execute a house hack. Thats what our current landlord did.

Is the flipping market still strong here?

Hi everyone! My name is Drew Hardin, (gotta get the name changed on bp) and I'm glad to be apart of the BP forum! My wife and I relocated to San Diego CA from Chattanooga, TN six months ago to start a franchise plumbing company (bluefrog plumbing + drain). We are looking to get started in real estate investment in San Diego, and we know its an intense market!

My background has primarily been on the contractor side, I'm a master plumber in three states now, and my wife Meredith is a nurse. We are looking to network with b&h investors and flippers in the San Diego area and would like to make our first investment in 2017. We would love to help anyone we can with the plumbing side of things as well! Thanks for all the information already on the forum and we look forward meeting some of you!
