That sounds good to me. I can get to most of those locations within an hour or so. I saw that you are director of an REI club, is your club mostly City investors? Or do you get a big variety too. I am going to go try to make it to as many clubs as I can. Can't wait to meet some new people.

Thanks Paul for the advice and welcome. I am going through the UBG now, I'm on chapter 3. Most of the REI clubs around me are all the way up in the West suburbs. I may have to look around more. I only did a cursory search of the internet so far. I will definitely get those books.

Hi all! Just wanted to introduce myself to the community. I am a new investor in the Midwest, specifically about 50 miles South of Chicago. I am a husband and father of three awesome kids. I work full time as a materials inspector in the construction industry. My goal is to begin investing in buy and hold properties in the South Suburbs of Chicago. I have yet to do my first deal. I am just learning all that I can from the forums, podcasts, and every book/audiobook I can get my hands on. Thanks everyone for such a great community of like minded people.
