I'm fairly new to REI. I live in Lindale. Inventory is definitely low. I have built a SFR in Lindale. You have to check zoning for multi family areas. Wish I could help more. Nice to meet a local BP investor.

The problem I found with financing 100% is that it decreases your cash flow. I built a 3-2 brick and get $1175. But taxes and the loans eat up my cash flow.

@ louis kelley, welcome to texas and BP. I have finding same high taxes in Lindale just north of Tyler. Makes my new construction 3/2 less cash flow than I thought. Of course, I built this as a complete newbie.

New to BP. Have read much but not nearly enough. We have two properties worth $200k with $100k in equity between them. Should we pull out the Max allowed to purchase another. Would be financing all unless I get a HML to kick in some or half. We love to hear your thoughts. Thanks BP nation.

I want rental properties, either single family or multi. Would love to build duplexes but don't have enough cash to buy the land. Not even sure how to get HML involved so we both win. My close market is tough. Would love to have $10k in gross rental revenue in 20 years. Maybe even $10k net revenue.

Welcome to BP. I'm new to this game as well. I like your questions. Will follow and continue reading here. I'm up in Lindale Texas trying to find my next great deal. Everywhere I go I, I find myself looking at areas and older houses wondering if it is the best deal. Good luck and welcome.
