remember what you did with the last rebate? That was in better times and it didn't do anything. The fact that they might give us money and then turn around and tell us not to save makes it all the more suspect.

Timeshares tend to overstay their welcome. You might try to donate it for a tax write-off, or title transfer services like Timeshare Relief -- none of these options may net a tidy profit but you'll free yourself of the cost of having the property.

I broached this topic in my intor, but I wanted to open it up for wider discussion. With the real estate market in trouble, is this a better time to buy or sell? I lost a lot of money in my real estate portfolio last quarter, but I get the impression that when prices fall, the buys are cheaper. What would you do?

But I don't really drink...
I'm looking for guidance in the current market. Uncertainty is an investor's worst enemy. I lost a lot of money in my 401k this quarter and most of it was in my real estate holdings. Now I am torn between getting out of it or staying in as the market gets cheaper...
