Hi, I recently moved from a single family to a 2-family. I had taken out a HELOC on the single family, but I was wondering if I can take a HELOC on the new 2-family, while keeping the original HELOC still open?

Julian Rodriguez I’m also a local investor in JC. I personally would do the cash out refi and buy more, but everyone’s financial situation is different. It’s really a question of how important the cash flow that you currently are realizing is to you, or if you are looking to just build your asset pool. I’m also a broker if you need any help valuing the property or finding something else.

Thanks @Anthony Perna.  @Vaughn Smith, I'd be glad to begin a discussion.  I'm very familiar with the area.  My office is in Hoboken and I live in Jersey City.

Sandro, are you looking to move into the condo or is this for investment? If you're going to occupy the condo then I have a couple of lenders that can help you.
