I'm in DFW area; if it's a deal I'm still buying. I do a super diligent background check to make sure that they can afford the property. I'm grateful that all my tenants are still paying.

I've used them personally on four occasions; they're active in REI clubs/associations in the area and they do a thorough job at a great price!!!

At this point in the beginning of my investing journey, I don't care who is copying who as long as I'm learning the information.  Everyone has a different spin on the various strategies available in RE investing.  I'm a big advocate of being educated, sharing knowledge/resources, and helping others.  

Just completed Chris McClatchey's 3 day event in San Antonio. It was GREAT! It reinforced a lot of the information from his one day event in September in Arlington, TX. Biggest carry-aways from this weekend were the class exercises (looking for deals from the AVATAR seller & the 3 option offer approach & yellow letter marketing technique & MLS versus Seller Direct offers).

Best way to start is to join some local REI clubs/associations; great places to start networking and meeting like-minded individuals. A couple of them that I like are DFW REI club that is led by Robin and Cindy held Saturday mornings at Woodhaven Country Club and HEB REI Group led by Dennis Hennis.

HEB, Keller, Flower Mound....so the northeast Tarrant County.

I'm a relatively new investor in the DFW area.  I have 3 SF deals and looking to go into wholesaling and fix and flipping to raise capital for the buy and hold deals.  Devoted to doing this full time since Sept 2016 and am constantly networking, reading, looking for deals and money.
