I'm just getting started and trying to figure out the order of actions I should take.

At what stage should I meet and hire an attorney's services and what should be the agenda of such meeting?

Thanks.

Eli Aviel.

@Michael Montesano thanks for the tip.

I will definitely go ahead and join this meet up.

Also, would you suggest to try and partner up for my first deal?

I am from New York looking to do my first fix & flip in north NJ or even suburbs of New York.

I have 40K In capital, 800 credit , I'm trying to find a way to get my first deal with those numbers (If I am too optimistic let me know in the comments) .

I'm at the point where I'm looking for areas and neighborhoods that I can make the most of with the tools I currently have, but I don't even know what to look for.

I think I'm on the right track but any suggestions or advice would be super beneficial.

Hello my name is Eli, Im a full time mobile app developer from Queens NY.

My goal is to be a full time RE investor and get financial freedom and good education for my 3 kids thru RE.

I have been lurking on bigger pockets for a while, hesitant on if I should post cause I am relatively new and don't have much to offer. But As a wise man once said:"He who asks a question remains a fool for five minutes. He who does not ask remains a fool forever."

I spent the last year on education, reading books, listening to podcasts and i'm soon to get my real estate license and now decided to take action. After all that I have read and heard, I have yet to understand, concretely, how to find an area/zip that suits my monetary capabilities and that the market is suitable for fix & flips or BRRRR.
I would love to hear thoughts, and get applicable and non-abstract tools and advice on the subject. I look forward to learning much more from this wonderful community, and completing my first deal soon.

If you are in the NY area, feel free to drop me a line.
