Why only cash or hard money?

Well that is good to know, glad you figured it out. The people who work with VA loans are the best source for this kind of information.

Thanks, Elizabeth

Hi Kenneth,

You can only have one VA loan at a time. I am working with a buyer now who either has to sell his primary residence or take out a conventional loan for the house he wants to purchase.

If you have equity in your home I suggest refinancing into a conventional loan and then purchase another home with the VA loan.

The very first home I ever purchased was a triplex with a VA loan. That would be another option for you to get more doors.

I actually know if a good property in Liberty Hill that I have had my eye on.  It is somewhat of a fixer but not enough that it would not be eligible for a loan in my opinion.  I'm always looking in the area.

Let me know if I can help.
