Thanks for the tips... That sounds like a great idea!

Can I ask how you built your list to 1000 people in your local area?

That is what I need to do!

Arnold Schwarzenegger was there filming a movie... I can’t remember the name of the movie for sure... But I think is was Commando... the movie where the old style Ford Bronco drives down the side of the mountain... and his daughter in the movie was the girl that also played the daughter of Tony Danza in the TV show "Who's the Boss"...

Anyways, they did some filming on Mt Baldy for the movie, and Arnold stayed there at the hotel for a while... They had converted two of the hotel rooms into a large gym where I worked out with him.

Easy question... long answer. Sorry!

And, no I really didn’t invest in that area… I ended up moving out of the area

Merry Christmas!

Joyce, Welcome to the group! I used to live not too far from you.

In fact... I worked out with the Governator, Mr Arnold Schwarzenegger in Claremont quite a few years back. I think it was 1985 ish.

We were at a hotel/restaurant called Griswolds... Is that place still around?

Anyway... Welcome and...

Go get em!

Yep... It seems that there will be all kinds of changes that may and can take place in the next few years... Either by choice of the lenders or because of new State or Federal laws.

I just looked to see if I could change the poll... But I don’t see that there is a way to without starting over. Maybe there is, and I just don't see it.

To be clear for everyone, my intention was not to downplay any success a long term successful investor may have...

I was more trying to find out how many are full time vs part time.

Have a great day!

How about asking how many deals you’ve done? That would be a better indicator. IMHO

I kind of thought that was what your were saying... I will make some sort of change to the poll... I agree the “how many deals” is a better indicator... but I was mainly trying to get a feel for how many are a FULL TIME investors vs. just doing it part time.

Maybe I will do another poll about how many deals...

Thanks.

I my area we can also use a warranty deed. In the beneficiary blank... the title company here likes to see... "John Smith as Trustee for the XYZ Trust" as beneficiary...

Is this what you are asking?

If you want to email me the document... I will fill it is as a sample for you... But again... I know my area only...

What State are we talking about here?

I plan to use the Land Trust for privacy and make the beneficiary my LLC for asset protection.

I have also looked online at different county Register of Deed offices and can’t find a completed Warranty Deed to Trustee.

I would say call a title company... they won’t fill it out for you but they should answer questions for you… i.e. what goes in what blank….

Also you can ask the title company to pull a filled out one for you and email it to you.

I hesitate to answer any specific questions for you as things are different from state to state. It is very easy though... Once you have done it the first time you will then be a pro!

The attorney thing is a real good idea too. It’s worth it to get all the questions answered and make sure the first time around things are being done correctly.

What are you trying to find out exactly?
