@Nathan G. This is great. I’m currently in the process of purchasing an occupied Triplex and some of this is definitely new to me and very helpful information

Just wanted to put a quick story on here . Been in the real estate learning phase for over a year. Watched tons of YouTube videos, Instagram reels, podcasts, audio books and finally was able to get out of the analysis paralysis. I was tired of learning and trying to cover all aspects of how things can go wrong. After all of that prep, I’m able to say that we’re finally in the process of closing on a property. Going from 0 doors to 3 doors and I’m buzzing with excitement. Investing in the Midwest and looking forward to the future. Still scared about the leap but I am sure of my abilities to move forward and make this a success. Cheers to all the people thinking about stating a new chapter of life. To the future 🥂

Newly started LLC for investing in rental properties. What can I expect to write off at the end of the year? Any guidance on what mistakes were made by any of you early on? Should I hold off on buying equipment suck as a laptop until after my first home purchase?

Anyone have a recommendation for a CA tax advisor?
