@Brian Paine I am all about it! I’ve been stressing over systems and implementing them!
On the side I have a landscaping business and this past year kicked my rear end! I'm in the process of reviewing those mistakes and implementing newer efficient systems and even hiring VA's to help out and make my life easier(as well as my wife's)
I’m going to do the same process with the RE. I attended a networking event here and it was awesome! It was for entrepreneurs and it definitely keeps that fire burning strong and now I’m looking into hosting one for strictly Real Estate investors in my county! I think even posting on here is nerve racking but necessary to ensure that we are headed in the right direction
I have been playing with List Source and referencing other posts on how to optimize list results and creations. Very interesting. Also used the Propelio free trial to see what it felt like to “drive for dollars” and even sent a few mailers out to distressed properties. Every action definitely just brings about more questions but it’s all good.
I am definitely interested in collaborating and continuing this journey!

@Jonathan Swartz I completely agree with you. In all honesty it is not 100% yet but it’s far more than what it was prior to the first deal! It feels so much better now that she is wanting to do this and supporting the idea that much more. Patience, understanding, and teamwork i am learning is all part of the process.

@Justin Mann that is absolutely awesome! My folks in The high desert in California have a few fruit trees and nothing compares to those homegrown fruits! How did you learn to do the retaining walls and irrigation? I plan to implement those services soon but still lack any formal training.

@Marlen Weber thank you for the encouragement! Do you know of any meet-ups in the local area? I know most are virtual but I would still like to attend to start becoming more involved in the markets neighboring me and becoming that much more educated with investors doing what I am planning to do!

@Frank Hinck I like that! I agree with you whole heartedly in the aspect that with real estate, its the tangible asset unlike the securities offered in the markets. I think every aspect of REI is so interesting and the fact that 97% of American's do not ever reach 1 million net worth is crazy to me. It seems like wealth is out there and all that has to be done is use a vehicle like RE to get there. All this great information and tools on biggerpockets.com at no to little cost is crazy!

@Justin Mann How long have you been landscaping? There is a lot of information on this website an some awesome tools. I attended my first webinar today, although I left early (dad duties) it was awesome seeing the use of the rental estimator calculator.

Good day all!
I have been on the site for some time now and finally worked up the courage to make the introduction post. I have talked to other members and asked for help and it’s been tremendously helpful!
Long term general goals is to accumulate rentals to generate that passive income! I want to aim for high end rentals in the future.
As of right now I have conducted one wholesale deal and it was a big learning experience!
I also own/operate my own landscaping business part time and in the future generate enough revenue through that to fuel my real estate goals!
I finally can see that my spouse is seeing the light in investing through constant conversations and informing.
I’m setting up better systems to operate the wholesaling gig for some time until we jump on the first rental property.
How did you guys determine your “why”? I know that RE is a great vehicle but how did you know that was your why?
