Good day, BP Community,

I recently watched "The Banker" which was a bank/ real estate-related movie and I loved it. Since I'm on break from the semester, are there any movies that you recommend because I'm interested in learning and watching in my past time.

Thank you,

Ethan Aurellano

Good day, BP Community,

I'm currently reading chapter 4 on the "book of rental property investing," and I came across the part when Brandon said that you must "Build a relationship by offering value" and Give more than what you get. So my question is, to what extent should you offer more to a particular person to avoid that same person from taking advantage?

Best regards,

Ethan Aurellano

Good day, BP Community,

I've been reading "The Book on Rental Property Investing" and I'm still grasping the concept of Refinancing from Chapter 3 of the book. I would appreciate it if anyone could explain it in the comments. Thank you in advance.

Best Regards,

@Joshua McMillion, I agree with what you said about Networking; I'll definitely get into that. Thanks for the advice.

Good day, BiggerPockets Family,

I have a question for all the experienced people in this forum about how you guys started learning about the Real Estate industry upon starting for the first few months. I'm currently in Junior College and taking Computer Science as my major, but I plan to go into Real Estate in the future. Since I have a lot of free time, what resources do you recommend using since it's my first week delving into RE?

Best regards,

Ethan Aurellano

Interesting post-@Stephen@Stephen Williams

I'm also starting my investing journey like you. Regarding your post and a couple of other posts in this forum, People would recommend reading Todd Fleming’s If You Can’t Wholesale After This: I’ve Got Nothing For You... if you're planning to go into wholesaling. Another book that somebody recommended in this forum was The Art of Wholesaling Properties: How to Buy and Sell Real Estate Without Cash Or CreditBook by Alex Virelles and Aram Shah.

Sincerely,

Good day, Everyone,

In 2018, I decided to read the book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad," and it opened a new perspective on how Real Estate, in particular, can help leverage in creating wealth. Been reading articles about Real Estate now and then, but I decided to set aside some hours to self educate myself on Real Estate. At 19 in May 2021, I just recently started reading Brandon Turner's book "The Book on Rental Property Investing" and joined this forum today. I can't wait to interact with you all and learn about your guy's experience and valuable knowledge that I can't wait to learn from.

Sincerely,

Ethan Aurellano
