What type of project are you looking to to do? Also, are you shying away from your previous investment strategy or just testing the waters?

@Carolyn S. I would suggest doing your due diligence and go with a lender that is compatible with your strategy. I highly recommend Sherman Bridgle Lending, if they don't work for you then Lima One. So you have a few options to chose from.

wow @Petrus Francois that's great to here. Usually the hardest part for most new investors is "pulling the trigger". You came to the right place to network and seek knowledge. Soak up as much knowledge and ask as many questions as possible.

Good luck!

Welcome @Jasmine Garland,

You definitely came to the right place. There are tons of resources and information within the community. You have plenty of ways to soak up knowledge. Ask many questions and explore different niches and strategies.  I am a licensed real estate agent here in GA and I work with investors primarily in Atlanta and surrounding areas and have connections with great lenders and contractors.

Welcome and good luck on journey!

@Turner Monroe To help clarify, are you looking at living in this property when you're in town and what is your price range? Everyone has their own definition of "cheap".

@Teesha A. Some people think so, but with all the growth and high demand more people are buying than renting. It really all depends on the area as well. If you're strictly using MLS. You might have trouble. The firm I work for, we primarily get off-market properties so our investors tend to get them at deep discount.
