Hello! We are the Hunt family. My wife and our little family are looking for 5+ acres (we’d love more!) in northern Greenville or Pickens county South Carolina. We need your help!
More about us? We want to raise our daughter, Rowan, and future children with a slow life surrounded by nature and all the south has to offer. Carolina natives ourselves, we value the beauty of this land and want to create a meaningful life here for our family. We plan to build our forever home on the land and pass it down in our will to be conserved indefinitely. Our goal is to build a homestead with a garden and fruit trees, living slow and sustainably and teaching our children values that have long been forgotten in this fast, modern world.
What are we looking for?
- Location: Northern Greenville and Pickens County
- Acreage: 5+ acres (the more the merrier)
- Type of land: Ideally undeveloped land but open to land with a house or other structures
@Alex Bekeza I think you're right that Chattanooga is a great investment location. Might have to adjust the team since that is crossing state lines but we will definitely look into that!
@Charles Situ good to know that you've been able to find tenants in those areas, that was one of our primary concerns. As you mentioned, all of the BRRRR deals I've analyzed in those areas have been the case where the capital cannot be fully recouped. Thanks for the feedback
Hello All! I am working with a partner to try to land our first BRRRR deal. I've been analyzing deals over the past month and have come to the realization, which many of you already knew, that the Atlanta market is currently extremely saturated. We have started to look in a one hour radius outside of the metro Atlanta area (i.e. Dallas, Mcdonough, Woodstock, etc.)
What feedback do fellow Georgia investors have on investing in some of these areas outside of Atlanta? Although these areas will not appreciate as quickly as Atlanta it seems the likelihood of landing a BRRRR is much higher but is landing consistent tenants realistic? Are there any recommended municipalities that should be focused on? I am sure this matter is only further complicated by COVID-19.
Thank you in advance for any feedback! Hoping to reply to this post by the end of the year with a deal in hand.
