The lever in "leverage" pries both ways...

Get a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment - the car wash could have been a gas station, and the laundry may have been a drycleaners.

First congratulations! Thank you for informing us, and me, that such deals exist in CA, as I had no idea.

In California, it is orange peel. In Atlanta, they have stipled ceilings.

FYI - asbestos drywall joint compound was very common up through the middle 1980s. Be careful.

Please post in advance of any planned meetings. I'm looking for more in LV, but know it will almost surely be necessary to wait until the foreclosures resume.

This thread just reminded me of a building owner I met quite a few years ago. We were doing a lead-based paint survey of his apartment building. He drove a big old Cadillac and had turned the trunk into a workshop, with tools fastened in place all over the bottom of the trunk lid!

Ryan, that is just my point. Gas ovens and microwave ovens both are ovens, as linoleum and sheet vinyl flooring are both sheet floor coverings. However, you don't just use "gas oven" to refer to both.

Besides leaking plumbing, leaks may occuring around the sink edge.

I think you are referring to sheet vinyl flooring, not linoleum. If you look it up, you will see that linoleum is made of made materials such as solidified linseed oil (linoxyn), pine rosin, ground cork dust, wood flour, and mineral fillers such as calcium carbonate, most commonly on a burlap or canvas backing.
