@Jean Santiago did you end up investing in Barstow? If so how did it go?

I want to thank everyone who has replied in this forum.  The amount of support here on BP is amazing.  I cant reply to everyone as my inbox is overflowing but I want to let everyone know that I appreciate your response, insight and opinions. Although there are some that think OOS investing is not the right way to go, I believe with the research, dedication and some luck I can be successful in my journey.

@Shawn Bhatti I'm in a situation were I bought my family home in order to help out my family. There is not enough equity in this home to do a HELOC. Unfortunately this has seriously complicated the idea of doing house hacking.

@David Nutakor I see your located in Palmdale, CA.  Do you invest in out of state deals? I'm actively looking in Dayton, OH. I'm optimistic I can make a deal work.

@Jeffrey Allen Thank you for your response. I'm looking into Dayton at this time, but its been hard for me to figure out ARV and the right price to pay. It seams like they are all over the place. Are you familiar with the Dayton area. It would be great if you can refer a PM in that area.

How would you go about finding people to partner with on out of state deals?
