I'm just curious to know what you guys drive? I'm currently without a vehicle deciding if I should get a used truck for 40k and pay roughly about 800 a month and enjoy what I drive or buy something for 5K cash and save more money for my REI and sacrifice having a nice car

Its been about 5 months that I've had my first rental property everything seems to be going smoothly with my tenants they sign another year with me which is good! But This post is to mainly talk about why am I feeling scared to purchase my second property I mean I have the funding for another one and I love the idea of having to manage two houses but there's something that's not allowing me to commit. How did you guys feel when trying to get a second property and how long did it take you?

So hurricane Harvey was very devastating to all the houses in Houston but luckily my rental property did not suffer any damages whatsoever but I did end up loosing my truck that was paid off for so now I have to take on a new truck payment and won't Be able to save as much money as I wanted to for my real estate investing. It seems like this is going to slow me down quite a bit, which is pretty depressing, but people have it way worse than me so I have to be thankful that only lost my truck

Now that I closed on my first deal yesterday and already have tenants living in there how soon should I start looking into buying another rental home? And also is it dumb that I am still renting while I'm doing the BRRR'D method or should I look into house hacking?
