We got the call on Friday that our cabin was on Wears Overlook Ln was completely destroyed along with 4 others on our loop. Sad day for everyone effected.

Help me understand the Title Insurance aspect of Tax Sale properties. If I buy an empty lot (non homestead) at the tax sale, I have to wait 6 months for the redemption period. Does title insurance matter if I have a cash buyer, or is it just needed for a buyer using a bank loan to buy the lot? Or am I just stuck waiting on the Title Company for however many years? Thanks
