As a newer real estate investor what is the best way to split a partnership if you find, manage, and pay some on the deal (mainly rehab and rent deals)? Also how would you go about paying them back monthly or what would be an exambled amortization schedule? Trying to find what would be the best way to partner, and work with a personal acquaintance while also keeping there money safe.

Quote from @David Daniel:

Without knowing the specific area it’s in, I’d be hesitant to take this project on. At best, I think you’d break even, but waste several months of your time. However, you will learn a lot, so that’s worth something! That’s just me. Let me know if I can help!

Unfortunately not the best area, which I didn't realize until after the purchase 😕 But it is also a rehab and hold deal I was going for. So as long as I could refi out, it may not be too bad.. Hopefully 😀 Thanks for the info!

2 Bed 1 bath 891 sq ft. Yes unfortunately the power has been off for more than 6 months, and the rehab will be more than the original purchase price, therefore they're going to make me bring everything existing up to code. I've done better on the others but this was my first full rehab in Thomasville so I was unaware of the regulations.

I'm having to put Tallahassee, FL Because Thomasville, GA Is not an option. I have a property that I bought very cheap and planned to rehab, the rehab turned out to be way more than expected, a full gut job! My question is since I already bought the home, should I go ahead and get the financing to do a rehab and the refinance. There's no comps in the area yet because all the homes are flips and haven't sold yet so I'm nervous to how much the appraisal may or may not come out as. Is there a better way to pull comps, or should I put energy into another project?
