@Jerrison Boor working with people you know and trust is great. Having working experience in the mortgage industry probably got you a nice understanding of what are the best way to leverage capital to your advantage.

Do you work with professionals for title check, lien search, or back taxes? Or it's something you'll do yourself? It seems the answer is divided among all the investors I've asked. Also, would you suggest to use a paid service for some of those fixer uppers in Detroit? Some of those deals worth less than 10k. Which makes me wonder if using all those extra services (title search, escrow, title insurance, etc.) worth it or not.

@Jeremy Verdusco

Wow, prices to stand still for so long can be upsetting. Is it typical for the local market?

Hi, Juan and Kunal, what is your strategy for buying properties out of state? I would be interested in learning how you're dealing with some of the issues and what are your long term goals.

I'm a newbie investor in the Metro area and it seems that good property management companies are hard to come by in the area. So people are saying.

Would be interesting to hear from any investors who invested in the city of Detroit itself. Midtown, Corktown, university district, highland park, some of those neighborhoods. A question to you guys who buy and rehab properties in the Metro area: when will the Detroit market get very hot for home buyers?

Congrats on the new purchase Karol. Did you have any luck finding reliable people to work with in the area? It will be interesting to hear of your experience.

Best of luck with the place,

Gili

I'm looking for a professional realtor who is investor friendly in Michigan.

Property types: Multifamily or single family home.

Condition: need of rehab

If anyone has recommendations or suggestions on the topic, I'll appreciate it.
