@Ron S. Thank you!! I contacted atty already and they haven't responded. I don't want to acquire a property if they owe more than what it's "worth" basically.  I am going to contact the owner tomorrow ( they may still be residing there). There is so much for me to learn regarding these rules. Also, I'm an agent and I dont want to do anything that is "illegal" even though I'm investing personally . Anyway....thanks for the info.

This may be silly but I am new to all of this. How do I get the loan payoff information on a home that is scheduled to be foreclosed on?

Hi all!! I am so glad I found this forum. I am Gina Musachia and I live in Texas!! I have been a natural gas broker for 23 years but come from a family of "investors" and I have also invested but I have very limited experience. All 4 houses I have bought and sold, I lived in first. I leased one for over 10 years and I just recently sold it.  I am also a licensed agent, mainly for myself and family and friends but my main goal is to learn how to flip and other strategies in investing. I have been to several meetings/seminars that have been FREE and the one that I got the most out of was the Houston Real Estate Investors Club ( Phill Grove ). I would love some insight on some of these things b/c I am ready to dive in but do not want to make an expensive mistake.  I almost pulled the trigger on Connected Investors PIN but saw a forum on here that talked me out of it. Either way, I am hungry for knowledge but more importantly to find that DEAL. I would love some guidance from an experienced investor!!
Thanks in advance :)
