Thanks for all the advice. I've looked into the NYC REIA clubs and will probably look to join one of them. The cost seems a little steep with the annual fee + the per meeting fees, but I hear from everyone it's worth taking a look at for obvious reasons.

Just joined this site. I am new to real estate investing. Looking for buy and rent properties in the $150k - $250k range in Staten Island, Long Island area, or close to NYC. Looking to meet others with similar interests and also any brokers, attorneys, other professionals with experience in this strategy.
