@James Christian I did not know this either, and it comes not a moment too soon for me.  I just purchased a rental property in Tucson that will take more than $1,000 to prepare it for rental.  I was looking at non-contractor options...I guess those are off the table.  I'm sorry to hear about how this is impacting you.

@Anessa Salinas  I'm new to the RE investing world as well, and understand your frustration with the "pay to play" aspect of it.  The advice from @Andrew Bang is outstanding, and will be helpful to me as well (thank you Andrew!).  Be patient, but take action every day to move the ball forward.  I wish you all the best in your RE journey!
