I believe Canoo is moving to Fayetteville, AR. Btw, I love that you are researching the area. I absolutely love it here and I am so excited by the growth and development taking place! I moved from California when I was 14 to Ft. Smith, then to NWA when I was 28 (now I am 30), such an awesome decision that continues to bring me joy.

@Thomas Kulinski Thanks for posting on my comment, I have asked my dad for some advice, however I feel as if he cannot teach me all I want to know in the type of investing I want to try. He has some long-term holds but he is a traditional investor, I want to be a creative investor. So there is only some much he can show me. It is much like Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Not saying my Dad is poor but he is limited but what he knows and has done. I do use my dad as inspiration but know that I want to try a different route than what my dad took. Anyhow, thanks for the advice and the conversation.
@Michael Lee you do not have to apologize buddy. I hope you are doing well/better, keep up the hard work in rehab. Thanks for keeping in touch! God bless.

@Jacob Anderson It is funny you mentioned "they only tell you about things to make hem money," I really think you should read it as soon as possible. The first day, I read up to Chapter 5, today I plan on finishing the book. It is an easy quick read but very insightful.

@Don EnriqueYou are right the financing side of the deal is definitely a lesson in itself to learn. The lucrative side of real estate, as you put it, is you can decide how much you WANT to make. I am most definitely in on making a killing. I am much like you where I want to study and learn as much as possible about the real estate income, so before I jump in there I want to learn as much of the useful things that will get me prepared to at least make one sound first deal. Thank you again!
@Jacob Anderson Thank you for the recommendation, I have just added that book to my reading list. @Allison Lane recommended me "The Banker's Code," and I have begun reading it. Jacob you should definitely check that book out, it is amazing and really opens up your mind for new possibilities.
@Robert Norvell Yes Sir WPS!!! Thank you for the appropriate warm welcome!

What a story @Don Enrique, I commend you for your success and early retirement, and seems as if you learned a lot from your father. I would say my dad can retire but he loves to work, he is a work horse, and I will more than likely be the same way as I get older and older. I think that is exactly what I need the knowledge from a well seasoned investor that I can rely on when I have questions or am weiry about tking certain risks. You are 100% correct that this day and age we have the luxury of the internet.. And believe me I take FULL ADVANTAGE of that. Can you elaborate a little for me on Real Estate Lending and how you got involved in that? I would love to be able to just relax and enjoy/raise my family as you did, and I am sure they will learn something from that. Thank you for your input, God bless.

Great, thank you very much @Kristie Wilson I will look for these threads. It is definitely a question that has been burning in my head. I am more than like going to go ahead with it, but will speak with an attorney mainly because I know each case is vastly different than the next. I would also like to learn how to link forum threads too lol.

Lol I owe so much to spell-checker.
@Michael Lee Wow, I am sorry to hear that, I am a firefighter in my city and I have ran on quite a few of those types of runs. I am happy to hear that you are on the road to recovery. It mean a lot to us to see our patients out doing better and getting better. Keep at it. Thank you for the advice. I had made a list of attorneys that I would like to speak with, hopefully I find a great attorney that I can build a great business relationship along with others in my power team.
I hope the best for you and your wife, it does sound like she has quite the work ethic and financial know-how. I also hope your daughter does well at UA, WPS!!
