Hello everyone,

Was curious to know what people are paying on average for the water/sewage bill on a 4 flat in Chicago, IL. A building that has 4 kitchens/4 baths. No D/W's or laundry so wanted to get an idea what is typical.

I know some buildings are non metered so billed every 6 months and some are meteroed and billed every 2 months. In addition, I think it is $7.64 per 1,000 gallons of water.

What is too much?

Hello BPers,

Consider buying a small apartment building (6-8 units) in the Chicago area and wanted to know if anyone knew of some companies that offer commercial loans in the area or where to start looking. If so, can you share. Thanks for your input.
