Real estate agent said to apply for construction loan/verses regular loan to purchase Hud home. A lot of banks don't mess with loans to purchase Hud homes, seems like a hassle. Any thoughts?

Thank you, I appreciate your time and advice. I kind of figured with it being so new to the market, low balling would probably not be in my best interest. Like you said, no hurt feelings, I will watch it, and if it happens, it happens, if not... there are deals every where.

Viewed a home today in foreclosure. Asking price is about $47,000.00 more then I want to pay due to repairs needed. Anyone have experience with these type of transactions? How motivated are these banks to sell? House went on the market yesterday. Should I bid or hold off for a while?
