Great post! Any thought on competitors to LoopNet other than MLS?

Jerry Kisasonak thank you. I did actually start the LLC process for asset protection, but never considered that it would set me apart from the others I'll be potentially working with. That's important. Thank you for your feedback.

Thank you both for your responses. That's encouraging to hear, glad to know there is still the possibility to do this.
Question Brandon Turner I like the pre-paid maintenance idea. Did you just have the owner pay you a flat fee (percentage of monthly rent) per month for 2 hours of service? Is that how it worked?
Brandon Eleazer hello neighbor! I used to be a property manager in the city as well, but moved to the western suburbs. Great idea about working with the realtors Broker. I setup some time with him next week to go over options. Hopefully it is a good niche idea, we'll see. Obviously we're starting pretty small.
Thanks again, appreciate your time and feedback.

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to solve a question about Property Management. I understand that I need to either hire a broker or be a broker to manage finances within property management in the state of Pennsylvania. However, if I am in no way dealing with finances, do I still need to have a broker of record? My goal is to manage all maintenance requests only.
I work with a realtor who sells to investors. They will take care of sales, lease negotiations, background check, security depsits, etc. Our company will manage maintenance requests only.
Is that possible?
Thank you everyone, in advance, for your responses. Would love to get this solved.
Thanks, Ned Carey! Great article. True, BP is very much like a mentor. This site has great information all over the place. Appreciate your feedback. You wouldn't happen to have any wholesale homes available in my neck of the woods, do you? Southeastern PA? Something I could buy, fix up and rent?
Have a great weekend.
Hi Everyone,
I'm new to investing and would really like to find a mentor in the West Chester, PA area, if at all possible. I recently joined some clubs and hope to make connections there as well.
My goal is to buy and hold rental properties, although I would never turn down the opportunity to rehab and flip a home. I grew up in the construction industry and that kind of activity is very exciting. My wife and I are hoping real estate can provide us with income during our retirement years, but also provide some income for our daughter (who's only 8 month old at the moment). Maybe even a place for her to work if we play our cards right.
We currently own one rental property and are under contract with a second. I need help figuring out how to get to the next level. How do I grow the business?
Thank you all for any advice.

Hello Everyone,
Is it true that in order to start a property management company (LLC) in Pennsylvania I must do the following first?
1. Obtain a sales license (hold for 3 years)
2. Obtain broker license
I'm eager to start a company and have some people interested in hiring my services; however, I'm not sure if it's possible because of this.
Anybody have some insight? Appreciate your help everyone.
