First off, welcome! I see you are Houston based. I just sent you a direct message with some information regarding our monthly investor meetups. There are so many different strategies to RE investing and sometimes just getting around a group of people and listening to what they are working on can be a great starting point. 

There are so many great resources on this site. Just try to take it slowly and know the initial overwhelm is pretty normal : )

Just a heads up that Astral Brewing recently rebranded to North Shepherd Brewing. Thus, if you are trying to search on Maps, it may show up as North Shepherd Brewing. 

We will be having our monthly investor meetup this month at Astral Brewing on January 31, 2024 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM.

This is an informal meetup for investors to share, learn and help each other grow. I look forward to hearing what went right this year, what had room for improvement and then what you have planned for next year.

Hi @Jesica Idir Latreche, Yes we have one scheduled for December 20! 

@Charley Schelhouse just saw your question. The one at Astral Brewing is social, and we like to keep it that way. We usually have a few topics but it doesn't take much to get a bunch of investors asking good questions and everyone learning from one another. It's also highly motivating to see others doing well, sharing those stories and strategies. 

We do have classes that will be starting in the new year around various topics for investors. If you are interested, just send me a DM and I can add you to that group list (no spam). We just email/text everyone about a week before and then the day of the event as reminders.

HI @Daniel Baran. Welcome to Houston! Yes, this meetup normally happens the last Wednesday of every month at Astral Brewing. Given the next two are going to be right around the holidays, I am considering hosting one in early December. We do have a short sale class for investors on January 10 that will be at Total Wine in the Heights. 

If you DM me your email address or phone number, we email/text everyone when events are happening (no spam or marketing, etc) and then have a Facebook group that I can share the link to if you'd like. We also have another list that shares deal pro formas if you are looking to invest in the Houston area. No spam on that either, just deals when we see them.
