Hi BP family,

I have been thinking of investing In real estate here in Ontario Canada. However, I do not have enough investing capital as the market here in Canada is different and the down payments and mortgage approval are a little different. I would like to start house hacking or wholesaling but I am a bit unsure on how it works here . What websites to use, what strategies and how to get good at analyzing the deal and putting together a contract.

I really need ingenious advise. I would like a real estate investor and learn as much as I can.

@Kenneth Yim it is with someone I don’t know but he is trustworthy my problem is the amount looks very high and like you said I don’t know his current financial situation. I have decided not to go with it I will save to buy my own house or get into another deal

I just got this from a friend to invest, something doesn’t add up I just can’t figure out what it is, this would be my first deal to invest in. I would love your insights and critics :

Nov 2020 $5,000

Jan 2021$5,000

Mar 2021 $5,000

May 2021 $5,000

Price : $650,000

Goal: To sell off on Assignment b4 closing in March 2022 and split the profit into 2

The response rate for the first request was mind blowing and was taken within 1 hour

We have another Buyer now looking for a Co Buyer to pair up and buy

It will be first come first serve !

You split the money at closing from the appreciation of the market price at the time (May 2021)

What do you guys think IN or OUT?

@Henry Lazerow I wouldn’t mind as long as you are very efficient and helpful. Unfortunately the world we leave in we are found of judging others by how they look and usually relate to stereotypes around tattoo. I say have your tattoo as long as it makes you happy and don’t let it define you but rather your work. Don’t settle for society, be exceptional.

I am a new graduate, and I would like to invest in real estate (own lots of doors for rental) but I don’t know where to start. I am thinking of Windsor, Ontario is this a great idea. Please advise me on how to finance, mortgage and rehab.
