Did the seller ask for the 5k EMD? that's a high number. However, it does seem like a pretty solid deal. I would look for buyers!

If the homes are actually worth it maybe you can sell the contract for 3 of them and hopefully you have enough and buy the last one and flip it yourself

Quote from @Daniel Salmeron:

depending on the city it might vary but Ive had success with going to the citys website. Go to departments> city clerk> Submit request. Depending on the city itll have you email them with specifics and theyll get back to you. If you have any trouble just call the clerk or code violation dept and they should direct you.

Do you know how to pull the Columbus one by chance? is there another term for city clerk?

Quote from @Dwayne Poster:

Municipality will have a tax list, but not foreclosure and probate as those are personal matters. For those you visit the courthouse. Preforeclosure really isn’t a thing, but a concept

Ok thank you for the advice!

Quote from @Marty Boardman:

As Bob and Dwayne have pointed out, there are no pre-foreclosure lists at your county courthouse or circuit court. Here's how the foreclosure process works in Cuyahoga County:

https://cuyahoga.sheriffsaleau...

And here's a link to all properties scheduled for auction on 5/31:

https://cuyahoga.sheriffsaleau...

If you're targeting pre-foreclosures I suggest you bookmark these pages and drive by these properties and/or send a letter/text message (skip trace). There are auction dates scheduled out to 6/27.

Good luck Imol!

 Thank you so much!!

Hello, im looking to invest in pre-foreclosures, probates, tax liens, etc and wondering how to attain those lists. I've been to and called several counties and have asked for these documents but have been looked at weirdly and also have been told no. They all tell me you need a first and last name. Is this true? Im looking to invest in the Ohio area such as Cinci, Cleveland, Ohio and etc. Thank you!
