Quote from @Patrick Kaiser:

Personally I think asking people if they want to sell their house is a waste of time. Set up a web site or advertisement of some kind saying "Sell your home For Sale By Owner" that way you get people who want to sell without an agent and don't want to pay any fees. Perfect. And nobody is doing it.

I've thought about that since a lot of people don't even want to work with agents, how would I go about that? do I find someone to set up a website for me?

Hello everyone I hope this reaches you in good health, I have been researching wholesaling for a year now. I've gained a lot of knowledge from youtube videos to even people on this platform. I have been struggling to find off-market deals. Many people tell me to subscribe to pop streams, batch leads, etc. I have used both platforms and it seems to be most data is outdated, I keep seeing youtube videos speaking about government lists when I visited the courthouse I was looked at very dumbly is there something I'm doing wrong? I also know there's a way to access them online but I'm always told it needs to go by name is there not a public record that you can just skip trace? I know this is a lot but I would appreciate any help or tips. I'm wholesaling in the Ohio area such as Cinci, Columbus, and Cleveland.

How many hours a day are you cold calling?

Usually an hour to 3 hours a day

Quote from @Joshua Janus:

If you are wholesaling in the Columbus market for example, you can pull lists via the map search (https://property.franklincount...), download a CSV file and skip trace the addresses on a website such as fastpeoplesearch.com and the owners on opencorporates.com.

Thank you for that information I appreciate it a lot! I just looked through the map search but got really confused. Where do I download the CSV file?
