Hey Timothy -
Welcome to BP.com! I am an investor focused in Buffalo (buy and hold) as well as a fellow UB alum. Buffalo is a great market with a lot of activity going on.
Let me know if you have any questions about the market or need referrals to any folks that can help along the way.
Best,
David

@Joel Moore, welcome to BP! I am a new investor to the Buffalo market as well. Will be make a trip there from downstate NY this weekend to scope out some properties. BP has been a great help with not only understanding the individual markets, but investing overall. The pod casts are a great resource. Happy to chat and network.

Appreciate all the feedback. I am a Long Island native and went to SUNY Buffalo for undergrad. I'll be heading up there early Sept to scout some properties and then will be making trips a couple times a month. Will keep an eye out for the meet-up and look forward to attending. Thanks for the welcoming!

Fairly new to Bigger Pockets and finally got around to my first forum post. I am fairly new to RE investing and am currently focusing on the Western NY market starting in Buffalo. For the most part, I am planning to invest in properties I can manage and begin generating steady income, and then flip properties as the opportunities come around. I'd love to build a strong network of other investors, mortgage brokers, property managers, etc. so I can ramp up my learning process. Always happy to chat, look forward to making a connection or two.
