@Charley C.

Im looking at B/C class properties. Definitely fixer uppers so i can buy under market value. I plan to buy via conventional loans with a 20% down payment with the property worth at or under $100k for SFH and $200k for MFH. My intent is to to follow the BRRR method and buy 3-4 properties annually. I have money saved up as I was going to buy a primary residence in Seattle.

@Holly McDowell

Thank you for that article Holly. That definitely changed how I perceive and message realtors in the future.

Thank you all for your feedback!! I really appreciate the constructive criticism so i can better communicate my goals as a real estate investor not just to realtors but anyone apart of the real estate business. The email I sent was a modified version of David Greens email to realtors in his Long Distance Real Estate Investing book.

Hello BP members,

After months of listing to podcasts, reading books on real estate investing, and a little procrastination I am finally taking action on my first step to financial freedom. I currently live in Seattle as a pharmacist and was saving money to buy my first personal residence here but prices here are outrageous.   I stumbled upon BP on youtube earlier this year and have been hooked ever since. Completely changed my mind set on what is an asset/liability.

Need a little help getting started. I am looking to purchase property (SFH/MFH) in Dallas or Houston TX and have had difficulty trying to find an and investor friendly agent in those areas. Emailed several agents and was completely upfront on what i wanted in looking for a my first income property and only a handful responded/followed up but then the trail ended there. One agent was honest enough to tell me that RE investors are not worth their time, which i understand as my budget is at or under $100K.

I am a little bummed at the response I got back but I am not going stop here. So i am reaching out to the BP community and am asking if any BP members could recommend such an RE agent who is willing to deal with real estate investors in Dallas or Houston to help start my journey.   I look forward to chatting with the BP community for years to come.

Thank you

Isaac
