Hi Bigger Pockets!
I was presented an opportunity to get involved with. Company that does live video monitoring. They connect to most existing camera systems and get real time alerts when there is an event that triggers an alert and then takes the appropriates action (calls management or the police ) to ensue that the premises are always secure. I have seem some of the video footage where they prevented property damage or unwanted loitering.
Does anyone pay or interested in a service like this?
To me it seems like a untapped industry but wanted to get some feedback before I jump in.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
@Alissa Mondesir Can you please PM the address?

Thanks for the confidence Michelle!
I don't want to have an expensive learning experience :).
What type of returns would be acceptable on a multi-family?
Hi Bigger Pockets!
I have been analyzing deals for some time now and I think I finally found a deal that seems to be worth buying. YET, I am nervous that I am missing something big that will make this a flop.
Deal seems to be profitable day 1 ( According to my conservative calculations at least 10% Cash ROI with an possible 20 % if all goes well). 100 % occupied with "long term tenants".
The property is a multi family in Michigan.
I am nervous about things like not being up to code or having to install fire suppressant systems... Who knows.... its basically the fear of the unknown.
Any advice for a newbie?

Matt,
Did you end up buying anything in Pontiac? I am looking at qudruaplex near the 24 and Woodward. There seem to be a lot of abandoned buildings around the unit (Google Maps).
Any advice?
