Hey guys, wondering if anyone has some recommendations on a RE Lawyer in the San Fernando Valley, Sherman Oaks, California area. Looking to create a partnership agreement.
Thanks!

Thank you for the response Joe Villeneuve. We definitely both have our professional roles, and parts defined as to how we will support each other. I am really wondering about experience with a contract between partners like I described. Thoughts?
Thank you

Hi All,
I have been doing much research between a partner and I, and have a pretty good plan of what we want to achieve with our RE goals. He brings just as much to the table as I do in regards to money, experience, and expertise. He currently owns a couple of business (Liberty tax and amazon store front), however does not make as much as I do on his W-2, for various reasons. We have talked about qualifying me for an FHA loan using my W-2, and then having a contract between him and I after the loan has been given, holding us both liable and responsible for the property/loan. Has anyone had experience with this type of partnership? benefits? downfalls? Pros/cons? And what routes to take in getting the contract? I imagine we would need to contact a RE lawyer to back the contract.
Any information would be much appreciated!
Thank you!

I have been to a few RE groups/meetups, and sometime conversation can get sideways and upside-down. Though some people have come specifically to market deals at these groups, I feel networking/connecting in or outside of RE is better felt when the experience provided value as a whole. What are some thought provoking question that you have all experienced that have driven great conversation amongst the group?
Thanks
Joe

I feel the same way David Faulkner. I see a group of interested individuals, and I have no problem trying to put this together. I know that my company and I meet up individually. I am sure that they would not hesitate to have others participate, who can bring their experience and knowledge to the table. I will be in contact for sure.

I have a group, 3 guys. One CPA, one real estate agent who's family own's a Keller Williams brokerage in Palmdale, and I. 2 of us live in Palmdale, I live in the San Fernando Valley, but am often up there. We have been to REI groups in the San Fernando Valley. We are interesting in possibly syndicating a deal for commercial property. If any are interested in meeting up. Let me know and I would love to put something together.
