@Bryce Veazey Do you have a bit more detail on what area of Twin Cities? Just saying 1hr radius of Twin Cities is a MASSIVE area, it's like saying 1hr radius of DFW. It takes more then an hour just to cross the Twin Cities itself.

There is satellite markets to Twin Cities that tick the box of "affordable" still, although that's rapidly disappearing.

"More affordable" is a perceptual term, all depends where one is measuring the Twin Cities by. Vs L.A., yeah, T.C. is more affordable, vs OH, no, T.C. will give an OH person a stroke.

And the simple fact stands, the places where everyone wants to be cost a lot more $ then the areas everyone is working to get out of.

Andrew, my girlfriend and I are exploring ideas on what to do with her house. One was renting to travel nurses. We live in suburb just south of downtown St. Paul. We would like to discuss any options with you.

Funny you mention OH people getting a stroke lol I'm a real estate agent/investor in Cincinnati, Ohio but also a travel nurse currently working at MN Childrens PICU!

And you are right I was considering buying a house here as I may work here for a few contracts and houses to us OH folk seem way over priced for what you get lol But I still may look into buying a house and maybe we can work together :)

Good morning. My name is Jack and I am based in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. I am preparing myself to find my first rental. I am specifically looking in the Alexandria, MN area for that property. I am wondering if anyone on Bigger Pockets is involved in any groups or investing in the Alexandria area. I look forward to meeting you!

Hi @Jack Goin I've got some investors that are purchasing in that area. I'd be more than happy to connect you with them!

Thanks @ Brandon Plombon. I’m not looking for lake front property. I’m looking at long-term rental, specifically single-family homes, in town at this point. I’m trying to get the lay of the land and build a network in the area to grow something in the future.

thanks again for your help.
