I am a property owner, and I rent an SFR in Florida. Tenants moved in March of 2020 and stopped paying rent in May. They submitted a CDC declaration stating Covid-19 impacted them. The lease expires at the end of next month. My understanding of the CDC declaration is that it only applies to non-paying tenants affected by Covid-19. When the lease expires, I can force them to leave because the lease has expired, correct?
