I am looking for recommendations for turnkey providers of SFH's in markets outside of MN. Preferrably from a 3rd party and isn't selling their own services. I currently don't invest outside of MN and am looking to potentially diversify.

Good afternoon,

Two things I'm hoping BP can help me with:

1. I am looking for someone in Minnesota I can meet in person who is an expert on self-directed IRA's. Specifically I want to educate myself on how they can be used to raise money for a syndication.

2. I'd like to meet someone in MN who has syndicated and would like to bounce some questions off of them. 

I am located in the northern suburbs and would like to set up coffee or lunch with anybody who can help.  Thanks!!

Welcome to BP Salman.  I have experience with residental rentals and do quite a bit of financing (construction, rehab, and long term hold financing for individuals and business entities).  Let me know if you have questions in that department.

I can only speak for my bank but we typically finance construction loans up to 90% of cost or 75% of the ARV, whatever is lower. I only do business-purpose loans so rental property or loans for builders, we can't lend to an owner-occupant for their primary residence. We don't have strict rules on the contractors but we do want to know that they have experience, not just your neighbor swinging a hammer! We let you choose the contractors. Feel free to message me with any additional questions.

Hi all, 

I just signed up this week but have listed to this podcast and many others for the last year or so.  I'm a buy and hold investor in the northern twin cities suburbs which is where I live and work.  I currently own and manage three townhomes but have owned duplexes in rougher neighborhoods which I've since sold (and learned a lot about renting in tough neighborhoods!).  My full-time job is business banking and I specialize in financing commercial real estate and residential investment properties in MN.  I signed up to continue educating myself on all aspects of RE and to grow my portfolio while hopefully meeting some trustworthy contractors and potentially team members.
