I am a brand new investor trying to figure out my next step. I am currently a salaried employee but am honestly considering a career change.

I am serious about starting in real estate and I would love the opportunity to learn hands on through a job assisting professionals in their already established business or whatever service I can provide.

I am in the Minneapolis metro area and don’t have any formal education that would qualify me for work in any of the trades or general contracting.

Does anyone have a suggestion on what field would be a good place to start where I could get good exposure to the business with little formal qualifications?

New to the site and looking to learn all that I can about real estate investing.

I haven’t gotten started yet, unless you count my personal residence that we plan to rent out once the mortgage is paid off.

I am hoping to find a mentor to learn the ins and outs of flipping and buy and hold from. I bought my home and remodeled the entire main floor myself so flipping has some appeal to me, but I know buy and hold is the end game.

Thanks for reading this, I look forward to learning all I can from this community and becoming a contributing member!
