@Marc Rice Northern Kentucky is a great place if you want an area with the Cincinnati night life but don't want to live there. Many people living in Northern Kentucky commute to Cincinnati for work. The closer areas would be Covington and Newport where you can see Cincinnati from Kentucky and stretches to Dayton, Bellevue and Latonia

@Jaren Lerner I considerNorthern Kentucky to go all the way up to the Ohio River including Covington, Newport and Dayton Kentucky.

Hey everyone!

I am an investor and REALTOR from Kentucky. I am looking invest in an AirBNB on myrtle beach as my first investment property. I am using the AirBNB tool here on BiggerPockets to help my analyze the properties to see if it would be profitable for me. Does anyone local or who has invested there have any information that I should know or anything that can help me make a decision.

thank you!

@Tanvir Sattar

Tanvir,

I don't have any active listings in Covington but I have seen plenty on the MLS in that area. I'm actually going to look at one tomorrow in Newport.

I would love to show you a few and help you look in future if you’d like

@Patrick Keene

Patrick,

I am a local Realtor in the area, also looking for a few investment homes for myself, Covington is a very interesting place when looking for investing. Covington has a lot of potential for a flip. However a few things to note about Covington is where in Covington you are looking.

Also, being so close to Cincinnati and Newport on the Levee there are quite a few people looking to rent in that area

@Sean Robinson I am a local realtor in Northern Kentucky and I have also been looking in the area for a flip or rental in area. My personal opinion on Covington is that it has a lot of potential the closer to Newport you area with the recent renovations done to the levee. It’s had a lot of appeal for those who like the city “night life” without being located in the heart of Cincinnati
