I have been through evictions also. What I learned from my first house that was in my name and to the point where my houses are in my LLC is this; if you own the house in your name you need to have it served by a Marshall, if you have the building in your LLC then you need to have a lawyer file the paperwork who has a Marshall do it. I was pissed when I found out that I had to get a lawyer to do something that I was perfectly capable of doing, but the New Haven Court told me I had no choice once I put the house in the LLC name.
