@Brianne H. Most lumber yards will guide you in the right direction at least where I’m from. Most people with a great reputation will also not be advertised everywhere you turn your head or driving flashy trucks with decals. Word of mouth advertising is what reputable contractors live by.

Hi BP friends, So here's my dilemma, I would like to purchase a flip, but I'm not gonna be able to use the bank this go around. Does anyone have any suggestions for the western ky area. I'm looking to build a great relationship with someone. I currently have 1 rental. I am a contractor looking to ease my way into making a living by flipping, and having some rentals. I've got my eye on 2 flips now but it's just wishful thinking unless I can find a lender.

Hello Lee, I just purchased a VA a couple months ago here in Ky and just went through a realtor. The VA isn't the easiest to deal with but there is some wiggle room usually in that price regardless of what the agent says. If I was you do some research and offer what you feel is right, their was several people offering on the one I purchased some people where just low balling way to far. Good Luck!!
