Hello all. In consideration of home values being sold over market value I want to explore the option of off market deals. Wholesale, FSBO, cold calling, and direct mail marketing. I'm in Illinois (Chicagoland are) and am asking if there is anyone [Edited by Moderators] - who can advise me on the best way to connect with - wholesalers, title companies, real estate attorneys to get a better grasp on the concept. My intention is to BRRRR properties with a partner. I would appreciate any help in the topic.

Hello, Im interested in learning more about the process of buying foreclosure, short sales, and off market homes in Illinois. Is there any experienced investors or like minded enthusiasts out there that would be interested in connecting. I'm also open to any source materials or books you can refer me to better educate myself on this avenue of real estate? Thank you all in advance.

In my journey into investing I kept hearing a lot about the difficulties & uncertainties that come along with finding a reliable general contractor or tradesmen when investing. Now in 2021 with the way materials have sky rocketed & homes are selling in a couple hours of listing on the MLS I'm feeling the burn.
If there is anyone that is licensed & insured in Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs that wants to post their skill on this thread, refer a rock star, or connect for long lasting relationships please post your info here. im sure this could help a ton of people.
At the moment I am looking for work done specifically in Maywood (drywall, masonry, roofing).
Thanks and good luck to everyone out there!

@Tony Angelos we just bought in North Maywood and with some forced appreciation we will see the 1%. Just be mindful of their high taxes and rigorous permit requirements as non owner occupied properties require GC to do everything outside of painting.
