@Account Closed this is very helpful.  i appreciate the referral!

Good morning!

I am looking for referrals for an experienced South Carolina RE attorney that is familiar with 'wholesaling' and 'subject to' transactions.

I am also looking for a Columbia, SC based selling agent that has experience working with investors.

Any feedback would be much appreciated!

Jason

Nick Munn a little late to the party here, but came across this post today and thought it might make sense for us to connect. We have similar backgrounds in sales that I am now trying to apply to real estate full time while learning the investment strategies on a deeper level. I'd love to hear what you've done since this post. I'm a few years behind you on the transition but looking to do the same very soon

Good afternoon!

I'm looking to move to the Wilmington, NC area within the next year or two for a lifestyle change.  Just married and looking for a slower pace than the big city I'm used to.  I just began investing in real estate within the last year.  I bought my first rental property last November in Michigan (where i was born and raised).

If i move, i'm very interested in plugging into the Wilmington community and surrounding areas to learn about the market.  I am interested in how the market looks from a buy and hold standpoint primarily, but am interested in potential flips as well if it makes sense.  I want to add to my single family buy and hold portfolio for long term wealth but am also looking into any other ways to capitalize on future opportunities.

If you are familiar with the Wilmington area i would love to connect with you.  I am looking for insight on the trends in this market, potential partners, and relationships with brokers and property managers.

I currently am an established sales professional, but looking to jump into real estate full time if the opportunity presents itself.

Thanks in advance!  I look forward to connecting.

Hello everyone,

I'm 27 yrs old and fairly new to this real estate game, but I love it and cant get enough.  I own one buy and hold property in Grand Rapids, MI.  I have a full time job in south florida that I love, but my ultimate goal is to become financially free with the passive income from my buy and hold properties.  I want to start doing real estate full time in order to grow my portfolio, but would need to raise money in order to do that.  Also, if I go this route, I will need enough cash flow coming in from real estate to support my family.

I have natural hesitations of quitting my job and jumping head first into real estate with very little cash.  I was interested to hear of others stories with a similar scenario and how they were able to get a quick start with no money?  I'm open to more strategies outside of buy and hold to acquire additional cash, but ultimately I want to rely on the passive income from my buy and hold properties long term.

Grand Rapids is/has been a great market, but I am open to other markets and/or different strategies as well.  Wholesaling seems intriguing, but I know it's not as glamorous as some make it look.

Any input would be extremely beneficial.  Thanks in advance!
