@Chris Seveney Thanks for the information from @Scott Carson. I started going through his content today. From what I can see there is a wealth of information I can use to start moving forward. As I go through the material I would like to discuss it with you further.

I've read the book "Real Estate Note Investing" and ready to learn more about purchasing notes.

Any advise/suggestions on developing a plan and  where to start would be greatly appreciated.
