I’m looking to put my first property under contract and there is a line in my contract for the SBL#! Can anyone tell me what that means? I’ve tried looking it up and I’m not having any luck!

It seems like so many people (mainly agents) are against wholesaling. Everyone is demanding regulation and licensing for which I believe is the right call! What upsets me is wholesalers are just middle men the outsource RE opportunities to cash buyers! This country was built on middle man! You have all of these people that wholesale product/services but when it comes to Real Estate people get sensitive!

I don’t believe it’s right to steal people’s equity and I don’t think it’s right to deceive the seller. From the moment I get on the phone or face to face I am as transparent as possible! I think licensing would weed out those type of people which is great for business!

I personally think a lot of people are are mad because the “common man” discovered a way to become financially free! If wholesaling was so illegal then why are places like Sam’s Club and BJ’s still around? Why isn’t anyone trying to ban those companies? Where is the regulation for them? They have been making a ridiculous amount of money of the public for years!

To sum it up, yes I will get a license to continue to wholesale and put my family in the best situation I can! I think everyone should be licensed when dealing with Real Estate! It seems more places are starting to crack down on it! Just don’t sit here and downplay wholesaling and not go address other corporations who have been doing it for years! Stop getting mad because the public figured out they don’t have to remain broke and can change their financial situation through sourcing Real Estate opportunities!

@Dan Mackin

What if you want your license just to wholesale? Do you still have to hang your license with a broker? I don’t want to be an real estate agent! I just want to be professional with my RE investing and get my license!

This seems the most profitable niche! How would I go about finding these leads?
