Welcome Tim, I'm new to BP and Indy.  Why Speedway?  I'm in the early stages of learning the Indy market and would love to pick your brain about the west side and your affiliated organization.  I have the same focus to buy and hold.  Best of luck!

Hi Jake, where exactly is your potential flip?  Recommend asking your local title companies, property managers, and hardware stores for contractor leads, then you should have pool of active candidates to interview.

I recently moved to Indy and I'm in the process of narrowing my target market for buy/hold investments. The west side is one of the areas I'm evaluating.  Would like to know your thoughts (please PM me).  Best of luck with the flip!

Welcome Chad!  I'm a newbie too, but I've got a few years on you.  Congrats on starting your journey at an early age.  If you need any advice on what NOT to do = I'm your man.  Seriously though, I'd be willing to share my failures so you hopefully don't repeat them.  Good luck and I'll see you around!

@Wes Kirtz As a newb on the site, thanks for sharing!  I'm in the analyze as much properties stage and this thread is very helpful.  Good luck with the deal!

Thank you all!  I'm amazed of how active and engaged people are on BP.  Please let me know if I can do anything for you.  Expect a colleague request, but I won't get offended if you don't accept it.  Look forward to sharing our endeavors.

Hi Jerwana, I just joined BP too!  Best of luck on your journey!

Will do...As I stated earlier, I'm feeling a little overwhelmed so I plan on following BP's initial welcome email (i.e. Introduce myself, attend a webinar [registered for next week's], then start analyzing deals).  Thanks Edward!

Overwhelmed, scared, confused...yet, motivated, excited, willing to learn and apply tools and techniques by proven multifamily investors.  Just watched BP Podcast 191, Bill Manassero was very inspirational and I hope to learn from him and others like him (value-driven, cash-flow focused; and most of all, family oriented).  The journey begins!

Respectfully,

Jason J.
