@Joel Lebovits Canton is still a good rental market with strong rents. NW covers a broad range of neighborhoods. Generally speaking the closer you get to downtown the rougher the area is.

@Hugo Rodriguez cant say for sure on the vacancy. I dont have any rentals in Canton. I mainly wholesale there currently and do some flips in the surrounding areas. That would be a good question for a local management company. But I'm sure it varies alot based on the neighborhood.

@Hugo Rodriguez 18th and Fulton isn't too bad of an area. Once you get to 15th st and south the conditions start to get worse.

Generally speaking if a house is rented at 500/mo in Akron and it's not under market then its probably not the best area. But you can definitely find them in decent areas in the 20k range with minimal work needed.

Hey Matthew,  I don't have a neighborhood map but I am really familiar with the Akron market.  Ellet and Firestone Park are pretty good areas.  Goodyear heights is pretty good for the most part but a little rough on the south end.  East Akron is also a decent area if you're south of Archwood ave.  Parts of NW Akron out toward Fairlawn are really nice also.  If you have any area specific questions feel free to ask

@Mark Slota yeah Akron is a good market to invest in. Lots of opportunities for decent priced rental properties. But as with any market it's got good and bad pockets to it.

To be honest I really dont know much about wadsworths real estate market.  I know it's a nice area but I dont know much about the price or rents on houses there.

What part of Akron is it in?  Akron is a really good rental market but some areas are pretty rough
