Hello All... Can a homeowner with a property on Auction.com accept a cash offer and prevent the Auction.com sale?
I have approached several homeowners in this situation and I have one that is engaging in the conversation.

Hi @Michael Clay,
The process took far longer than I had hoped.
I had to close in early July then went on a vacation for most of the rest of July. Then it took me a while to get a contractor. I ended up going with a friend for a variety of reasons. He had a full time job so he would work on nights and weekends so it took a long time. It was approaching the holidays when it was 100% finished.
I decided to wait until January to put it on the market so it wouldn't go stale during the holidays and ending up selling in February.
As I mentioned, I should have kept it. I like the Idlewild South neighborhood and I know prices will continue to increase. Beyond that, rents weren't bad.
All in all, it was a great learning experience and I made some $$... Can't complain about that.

Thanks for the suggestion @GlennMccrorey.
I just listened to your podcast in it's entirety... You are the perfect guy to answer my questions. I feel much more comfortable going forward with this.
One more quick question, I ended up getting a HELOC on this property so I had to put it back into my own name. Would you recommend I keep it as is?
Thanks!!
