I am currently investigating Self-Directed IRA Custodians since mine is getting out of the business :-( I looked at UDirect, and it appears that they are not a custodian, but rather connect you with a custodian. It's my understanding that a custodian must have the word Trust in their name as they are a trust company. BP peeps, feel free to correct me if this is incorrect information.

I used to use Quest and started with them when they were Entrust.  Quest has very good educational programs and networking events, however, I had issues with their service.  I switched to Sunwest Trust in Albuquerque and was much happier.  Unfortunately, just like @Ruth Lyons, I received word that the accounts are being sold to Millenium Trust.  Based on the negative reviews I see on Millenium, I am currently shopping for a new custodian.

You all are great!  One more question:

Does anyone have a range of what I should expect to pay for installation of a ceiling fan by a licensed electrician where the wires are already in the ceiling covered by a blank plate?  I'm used to TX prices, but the rates I'm getting seem to be about 4 times that.

@Joe P., I would love to do that, however, my apartment management requires a licensed electrician and the prices here are about 4 times what they are in Austin and Houston.
